Well, I said that I wasn't going to blog on vacation...but, maybe a little. Discovery #1, if you want to learn how to use a new device, go to another country (one where you don't know the language) and only take the new device. Discovery #2, it is easier to take notes with paper &pencil then by finger-touching on an iPad mini. Conclusion: short entries.

Here is the view out of my hotel room in Reykjavik. The image of lightly snow covered volcanic hills, reminded me of the stunning contrast that I recently observed on Block Island, when the wind whipped and drifted together dunes of black magnetite sand and snow.
