Thursday Evenings - OVF's Green Screening
OVF presents feature-length environmental films that are fun for all ages . Evenings at the Island Free Library, Dodge St. - see schedule in the BI Times for times and feature.
Mondays - Wild & Native (Wildflower of the week stroll)
Every week of the summer, the island is adorned with different wildflowers, native plants, pollinators and other beneficial insects. This walk will highlight and introduce you to the week's beauties and help build a unique wildflower checklist.

Tuesday - Bird Banding & Naturalist On Site
A bird banding demonstration for all ages – everything you ever wanted to know about birds and more. Come with lots of questions and a sense of wonder.

Wednesday - Andy's Way Bird Walk
Meet at Andy's Way parking area off Corn Neck Rd. All skill levels welcome. Bring binoculars, if you have them, and be prepared to get your feet wet!

July: 6th - 4 p.m., 13th - 9 a.m, 20th - 4 p.m., 27th - 9 a.m.,
August: 3rd - 4 p.m., 10th - 8 a.m., 17th - 11 a.m., 24th - 8 a.m., & 31st - 11 a.m.
Thursday - Stepping Stones
A participatory program building a stepping stone path to the Pavilion...step-by-step. Each stone will be decorated with found objects.

Fridays - Art & Nature: Sketching, Journaling & Seeing
A program for all ages. Practice observing details of the natural world. Basic art materials & natural history models will be supplied. You bring the imagination and relaxed expectations.

Saturdays - Andy's Way Exploration: Sea Level Change - tidal & otherwise
A citizen science program for all ages. Some days we will investigate animals, some days plants, some days mud and peat and currents, - all days will be hands-on and FUN.
This OVF program, presented jointly with Block Island Maritime Institute, will explore Andy's Way throughout the summer and document its critters and note changes in the ecosystem - daily, seasonally, & over decades.
