Block Island Bees & Pollinators

BeesBecome a citizen scientist by joining EcoWorker, Samantha Alger, at the OVF Pavilion site to collect and identify bees & other pollinators. You will learn about bees and their importance.


Bird Banding & Naturalist On Site

Bird BandingA bird banding demonstration for all ages – everything you ever wanted to know about birds and more. Come with lots of questions and a sense of wonder.

Art & Nature: Sketching, Journaling & Seeing

Art and NatureA program for all ages. Practice observing details of the natural world. Basic art materials & natural history models will be supplied. You bring the imagination and relaxed expectations.

Stepping StonesA participatory program building a stepping stone path to the Pavilion…step-by-step. Each stone will be decorated with found objects.


Bird Walk at Andy’s Way

Bird Walk at Andy's WayMeet at Andy’s Way parking area on Corn Neck Road for this bird – and other critter – walk. This walk is suited for all skill levels, so bring your binoculars (if you have them) and be prepared to get your feet wet.
